Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?
No. The tool collects gender, when you were born, how you rate your own health, whether you use tobacco, the amount of coverage you want, and how long you want it. Those six facts are sufficient for carriers to provide a quote. Your name, address, and detailed health information are only asked for if you decide to apply.
Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?
No, they're estimates. The amounts quoted represent what each carrier charges for the health class you selected. After you apply, the carrier performs underwriting, which might confirm, improve, or adjust your rating. Rates shown here are informational only and do not represent a promise or offer.
What happens when I click Apply?
After entering your name into the form, your chosen quote is used to launch the application, which proceeds on the carriers' secure platform. You may pause and resume whenever you like; your signature is added electronically. Susman Insurance Agency, licensed in California (License 0B75129), handles all applications.
Will I need a medical exam?
The answer depends on the carrier, the coverage amount, and your particular situation. Certain carriers with rapid approval processes can make decisions right away for qualified applicants. Your quote details will specify whether an exam is mandatory, possibly required, or unnecessary.
Is a longer term better?
A term should cover the specific years when an income loss would create hardship: an outstanding mortgage, children in your home, or obligations tied to a business. Higher-premium longer terms lock in your rate for more years. The quote tool lets you check 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30-year options side by side.
Does this site sell my information?
Absolutely not. The quoting tool doesn't request contact information; we never sell or share your data; and our analytics don't use cookies. Look at the privacy page for a full accounting of what's gathered and who sees it.
